Bankers' Hands

Early in my career I studied with Joan Brown*, an incredible person, sculptor and painter at the San Francisco Art Institute. While she encouraged me to explore painting, I chose the path of bronze casting, sculpture and assemblage. These new paintings are inspired from a breadth of emotion; spanning my love of family to expressing the horror of current world events. I am deeply moved by both. You can view these paintings and more in Recent Works.

*The Art of Joan Brown, by K. Tsuimoto and J. Bass, University of California Press, 1998
